Are Cheap SEO Services Worth It? A 2026 Pakistan Guide
Cheap SEO is worth it only in some cases. An entry plan of PKR 30,000 to PKR 55,000 that lists its monthly work can suit a small, local business. A price below PKR 30,000 needs a close look, and a promise of a guaranteed ranking is a reason to walk away.

What counts as cheap SEO in Pakistan?
Cheap SEO is a monthly plan priced below the normal market. In Pakistan, the published plans we checked start at PKR 30,000 a month. Plans from PKR 30,000 to PKR 55,000 are entry plans. An offer below PKR 30,000 is under every published price we found, so it needs a close look.
| Monthly price | What it usually means | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Below PKR 30,000 | Below every published plan we checked. Ask exactly what work is included | Look closely |
| PKR 30,000 to 55,000 | An entry plan with a short list of keywords, pages and articles | Can be worth it |
| PKR 55,000 to 120,000 | A standard plan with more content and link building | Normal range |
| Any price with a ranking guarantee | Google says no one can guarantee a number 1 ranking | Avoid |
Is cheap SEO worth it? Price alone does not decide it. A low price with a clear list of monthly work is a small plan. A low price with big promises and no list is a warning sign.

A cheap SEO plan can be worth it for a small business with one location and a few services. It works when the plan lists the monthly work, such as keywords, pages and articles, and sends a report. It is a low-cost start, not a way to beat strong competitors.
Real entry plans are small but specific. Here are two examples from the public plans we read in October 2026.
| Plan | Price per month | Keywords | Pages | Content a month | Also included |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Provider A, entry plan | Rs 40,000 | 10 | 5 optimized | About 3,000 words | Off-page work, monthly reports |
| Provider B, small business plan | Rs 54,999 | 5 | 3 optimized | 1 blog post | Basic link building, 3 local citations, monthly report |
A cheap plan is a fair choice when these points are true:
- You have one location and a few services.
- Your market is not crowded.
- The plan lists keywords, pages, articles and reports in writing.
- You can do small jobs yourself, such as answering reviews and posting on your Google Business Profile.
- You want to test SEO for 3 to 6 months before you spend more.
For context, about 42 percent of SEOs in the Ahrefs survey charge between $250 and $1,000 a month, which is PKR 70,000 to PKR 280,000 at PKR 280 per US dollar. The survey is international, and Pakistani prices run lower. A lower price in Pakistan is not a warning sign by itself.
When is cheap SEO not worth it?
Cheap SEO is not worth it when the price is below the market and the offer still promises big results. It is also a poor choice in a crowded market, for a business with many locations, or when you need sales within weeks. A small plan cannot do the work of a large one.
| Your situation | Cheap plan | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One location, quiet market | Can work | A short work list can cover the basics |
| Crowded city or industry | Usually not enough | More pages and links are needed to compete |
| Online store or many service pages | Usually not enough | A few pages and articles a month cannot cover many pages |
| Many locations | Not enough | Each city needs its own pages and local work |
| You need sales within weeks | Not the right tool | SEO results build slowly, and most of the return usually shows in months 6 to 12 |
In the cases marked not enough, look at the standard level first. The price guide explains what each level includes.
What are the risks of very cheap SEO?
Some very cheap offers save money with tactics that break Google's rules. Google's spam policies name link spam, scaled content abuse and keyword stuffing. Sites that break the policies may rank lower or not appear in results at all. A low price does not prove any of this, but it is a reason to ask.
| Tactic | What Google says | What to watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Bought links | Buying or selling links for ranking purposes is link spam | Packages that sell links in bulk for a very small fee |
| Mass-made pages | Many pages made mainly to manipulate rankings is scaled content abuse | Dozens of thin or machine-made pages that do not help readers |
| Keyword stuffing | Filling a page with keywords to manipulate rankings is keyword stuffing | Pages that repeat the same phrase until they read badly |
These are the main cheap SEO risks. The result is the same for all of them: the site may rank lower or not appear in results at all. Google also says to be careful if a company is secretive or will not explain what it plans to do.
Google adds that no one can guarantee a number 1 ranking, and that you should beware of anyone who claims a special relationship with Google.
What can a failed cheap plan cost you?
A failed cheap plan costs more than the monthly fee. You also lose the months, because SEO results build slowly, and you may need to start again with a new provider. In the worst case, rule-breaking tactics can make Google rank your site lower or leave it out of results.
| Cost | What it means |
|---|---|
| Fees paid | PKR 90,000 (PKR 15,000 for 6 months) |
| Time lost | 6 months in which SEO results could have built up |
| Starting again | A new provider may need to redo the work, at PKR 30,000 to 55,000 a month or more for an entry plan |
| Worst case | Google may rank the site lower or leave it out of results if the work broke its spam policies |
This is an example, not a client case. It shows why the monthly fee is only part of the cost. A price of PKR 15,000 is half of the lowest published plan we found, which was PKR 30,000.
How do you check a cheap SEO offer before you pay?
Ask for the monthly work in writing, the link and content methods, past results you can check, the report you will get and the contract length. Google also advises care with anyone who guarantees rankings, claims a special relationship with Google or will not explain their plan.
| Question | A good answer | A warning answer |
|---|---|---|
| What exactly do I get each month? | A list with keywords, pages, articles, links and reports | Complete SEO with no list |
| Which link methods do you use? | Clear methods you can explain, such as relevant guest posts and local listings | Bulk packages, or a refusal to say |
| Can I see past work and results? | Examples with real data that you can check | No examples, or only vague praise |
| What results and timeframe do you expect? | A range of months and a plain statement that nothing is guaranteed | A fixed ranking in days or weeks |
| Will you share every change you make? | Yes, with a monthly report and a list of changes | Secret methods |
Also check how long the contract runs and what happens if you stop. NexPrime has no minimum contract.

With a small budget you have three safe options. Buy an entry plan that lists its work, buy a one-time job such as an SEO audit or a Google Business Profile setup, or do the basics yourself with free tools. Move to a larger plan when the first steps bring leads.
| Option | Cost | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Entry plan with a work list | PKR 30,000 to 55,000 a month | One location and a few services |
| One-time project | Quoted per job | A single need, such as an audit or a Google Business Profile setup |
| Do the basics yourself | Free tools | Owners with a few hours a week who use Google Search Console and a Google Business Profile |
Google Search Console and Google Business Profile are free, and Google publishes a free SEO Starter Guide. Learning the basics first also helps you judge any offer later.
NexPrime plans start at PKR 84,000 a month, which is the standard level. Every plan starts with a free SEO audit, and there is no minimum contract.
